Rowan has always had a passion for animals both domestic and wild. Since graduating in environmental and wildlife management, he's remained ever eager to understand every facet of the natural world, from the bare bones of skull identification to reading animal tracks in local forests. This keen interest has only sharpened over time, leading Rowan to pour his passion into various pursuits, such as wildlife rehabilitation, environmental interpretation and education, dog training, and animal adoption efforts.

With a relentless drive to continue to learn and spread the stories of the world around us, it was only a matter of time before Rowan wandered his way into the medical side of nature, too. Rowan lives at home with his two cats: a brown tabby named Fern, who thinks he's a show dog; and Ivy, a white shorthair whose delicate constitution rivals that of a young Victorian child.
